ok first thread so bare with me, i've been reading the forums for awhile but never actually talked in them myself. So anyway my idea would be new armor, like each specie has a type of armor that Armorsmiths can make, like when the combat upgrade comes theres a lot of talk about making faction armor more usefull and as a Dosh myself, storm trooper armor looks horrible on me. Each suit of armor would show that certain species culture as how it looks like I read Rodian have gladiators on their planet so maybe make gladiator looking armor, and that specie armor isn't just for those species it would be for everyone so it would make diversity in the armor of the game. So I guess theres my idea please reply any suggestions on how it would work or if its even worth adding to the game.

i like the sound of this idea having everyone wearing comp everywhere i look makes the whole game look a bit boring if you ask me, not like many people even try interesting colors lol

But i dunno if it'd ever happen. Personally i'd be happy if they just made comp the electric version of ubese and added acid armor, cold armor etc. all with low base effectiveness but 70-80 in its special resist, all with different looks. Adds some variety.

The rodian gladiator suit is a really cool idea, It'd be nice to have at least one type of species-specific armor for every species, since i'm sure that composite armor didnt just appear on all planets at the same time in the same style. It'd help add a more star-wars feel to the game.

Have you checked the stickies for an improvements thread? maybe you could post your idea in there if there is one. Must be well hidden though because i cant find it :/ also the combat revamp thread would be a good one to go to. They should be redoing armor in that update so i wouldnt be surprised to see a few suggestions there.

and its very nice to see a first post suggesting an improvement to the game rather than complaining like a few i've seen.
