I was talking to someone the other day who said a human really on needs a helmet, chest plate, foot and hand protection. He said that all the others don't affect you at all. Is this true?

Thanks,

Vahe

99% of the time yes.... Some people report armor 'holes' but I have never seen them. What is known is that what else you equip has an effect, for example using a skirt will open up a armor hole to the legs.

I use camo pants and form fitted shirt with the 4 piece set and have no problems...

The DEVs used an ugly hack to try to fix the armor hole a while back, basicly they added code so that if you were wearing a "full suit" of armor, damage would be shunted to the nearest peice of armor. Thing is, "full suit" with composite was just helm, chest, boots and gloves. With only those 4 pieces the system considers you fully protected. The armor hole still actually exists and occationally a shot will get through, but almost all the time you are fully protected.

When I was base busting with my guild, I had full armor on 80% to everything and I still experience an hole from the turrets attacking me it went from 20-30 damage to like 250
