Howdy,

Yesterday I was informed about the plus's a Jedi Armorsmith would have. I know they get some kind of plus when making armor. But from what I heard, that Jedi Armorsmiths are making 80% base Composite armor...

Now if this is true, what happens to the other armorsmiths who are not Jedi? (95% of us) Even using our best stuff (me personally), we can make what 69-72% base? How if Jedi sell there armor at 80% base UNSLICED **edit** are we going to do? they need what..an 10% armor slice to hit 90% with no problem..

Then for us to even get bussniess, we would have to sell our armor VERY low to undercut them to a low that our prices will be dirt cheap...

I mean **edit**! I hope they can do something about this...Thanks (leave some postage)

Where did you here this? Unless Jedi magically gained the ability to bypass experimentation limits or refine resources to 1000 OQ and 1000 SR, I don't see how this would happen.

A10-pointer can max out the quality line on experimentation forlayers, segments, and final assembly. Even if the Force experimentation bonuses granted additional experimentation points you can't get past the limits imposed by your resources.

sorry its early here and i just got up and have a bit of a hangover so ill explain alittle more

My armorsmith is my Jedi so i would know a thing or 2 on this and have dont several other crfting profs so i understand crafting in general

now all stats are based on a Base + the % of the experimentable range. The Cap on that experimental range you are alowed to acheive is based on your resource stats so if he is making 80%base (not posible wihtout enhancements) then he has the resources to do it or is using enhancements or sliceing it.

The only benifits of Jedi crafting are supposedly Lower critical failure rate, and a perma bespin port type mod( i recomend all crafters go get this when the village thingy goes live) they dont get anymore exp points magical ablities to change resource stats ect just those 2 main advantages

the only bonus a jedi would have is an way increased chance of getting amazing success's... so really all it means if jedi have an easier time of getting the most out of the resource at hand with amazing success, which anyone else could with some time.... they dont get more experimentation points like was first planned... once pub 10 hits you can go out and get some force sensitivity skills to and be the same, dont see the big deal...

Yea when she told me, I either thought it was from craft day, or he is using enchancements to get the base to 80% (which I find not possible)

I have some 55% base exceptional krayt composite segments. It is very much possible. What a stupid thread, Can't believe I am bumping it.

No one is saying it's not possible without loot, they're saying that it's not possible that a Force sensitive armorsmith can take normal materials and get a higher base from them than a non Force sensitive crafter.

I will agree though, it's a stupid thread. Someone told me they say 80% stun, 90% base encumbrance slicedcompositeon another armorsmith's vendor, I guess I shouldmake a post aboutthat too.
