Working my way to MAS (not there yet)so I can craft armor for myself, my wife and my wookiee brothers and sisters

Already have a question on the armor padding... just made a schem (also Master Tailor)... it came out 4% w/ 6/8/6 HAM... is that good?? Put all but 2 exp points in quality. Suggestions please?

Is it more beneficial w/ the Armor Padding to go for higher Effectiveness or Lower HAM costs?

Unless you're using the armour for fashion or RP sessions you'll pretty much always want to hit 4% base on the padding.

I've never gotten more than 3%, even with very good resources. Thats what I use in my armor. I get 55% kinetic ceremonial, and 80% kinetic, 64% base hunting armor.

After using 80 cpu wooly hide, insanely good fiberplast and allmost insanely good leathery hide, I got the 4% paddings, and my factories are making me 3000 of them. My question is, is it really worth wasting all these beutifull resources? What difference does the paddings make? If the paddings used in the armor is 1% better than what I used before, does that mean I just get a 1% increase in base resists on the armor?

In that case,I either make it using excellent (expensive) resources and bump the price on my armor while trying to explain to my customers that thats the price of 1% better base, or I just use crap resources and make 2% paddings and dont have to stress so much with getting good resources...

i used very good wooly and fiberplast and got 4% don't remember with the ham was. it was made from a 12 point tailor
