Thread: Anyone noticed a small crafting nerf today?

I'm making armor with 1% less base than I was yesterday with same materials and same segments. A Weapon Smith friend confirm the same thing his component are coming out a little less using the same materials.

Does anyone notice a difference in your crafting?

Made a helmet and chest schematic on Sunday night - 80% kinetic/energy/electricity, 70% base. Made the rest of the schematics last night (Tuesday), got the same result.

I did get hit with a weird bug last week though. Made a full set of schematics for 80% kinetic/electricity, 70% base. Ran them through the factories, yanked the crates and schematics out of the factories, dropped the crates off for my slicer and logged off. The next day the finished pants and chest plates, as well as the schematics for them in my datapad, had dropped to 67% base. Now that pissed me off.

Ittov,

So they targeted a little nerf on me because I made 100 mil last month?

"OMG they killed Kenny!" .."You BAST....!!!!"

But seriously I talked to an WS friend and he's havingthe same problem. His components are coming out a few points less than what he got before. He double check with his notes and he is using the exact resources as before. The nerf I expect that it's the rounding of the last decimal place on yourcrafted item. I guess .5 now round down instead of rounding up. I was talking to Shroozle and he metioned that Ikoo is having the same problem too.

It very well could be due to rounding. I know my stuff was on the high side of 70% anyway, as I could push the gloves up to 71%.

On a side note, do you ever wonder where all the demand for armor comes from? I probably sold about 60-70 mil last month (hard to say, been spending as well), and I was only stocked about 75% of the time. Just between you and me that's a lot of credits being dumped into armorsmiths' accounts.

A lot of people are dumb and take their brand new uber armor to the corvette or let it get pounded at the DWB, so they burn through suits like crazy, I had some guy buy out my entire wookie vendor last night, and there were a good 20 or more sets on it :smileysurprised:

I know where he is coming from Before they ugraded NPC's I was farming NS Elders and going through a suit of comp every buff session. So the mean NPCs that do alot of damage really tear up armor. I for one wish they would give armor more con or make them consistantly repairable.

well every now and then i run into a temporary instance where i can make higher base with the same materials, like few days ago with some resources that should have gotten 68%base, instead was giving me 69%base on the bracers, then some odd reason it gave me 70%base on the chestplate, so i made a schematic, then i tried on a boot, and it went back to 68%, and the bracers and chest went back to 68% too. But my finished products didn't get a stat change like ittov's did. This first happend to me a few months ago, i first noticed it when i was making 69%, then all the sudden one night with the same resources i was hitting 70%, then a few later crafts, went back to 69%. Theres also something else, when i get fails on experimentation, i name the armor accordingly to the stats, then once the armor is made, the stats are higher. This happened one time i failed on 1 pt, so i ended up with 75%Kinetic, so i named it 75% kinetic, then when it was made it was 80%. Just wondering if anyone sees this.

This is happening to me too. My stun layers are capping at 12% instead of 13% with the exact same materials and even with some amazing successes I am stuck at 12%. This kinda sux.

yeah my bases are lower again. I was *finally* able to hit 70% base armor and now lately even with the same materials and same crafting method I cant hit over 69% base. kinda pisses me off because I told alot of people I'd start stocking 70% only to have it go back down to 69%. not a huge drop but some of the die hards on bloodfin have a B!TCHFIT over a whole 1%

lol yeah bloodfin is a server full of elitists, but that is what makes it so cool. Wish I knew **edit** was going on though cuz it only seems to be on bloodfin.
