Featured in the Correspondent notes, the 2nd down thread is this area, is mentioned that RIS armor is restricted due to art issues.
In TC2, all species, minus the Wookiee can wear the full RIS set. So the reason can't be "art issues."
Why isn't this possible in live?

I dunno, my RIS turned out so outstandingly well I'm considering erasing and restarting my character so I'm able to wear it. My main is a trandoshan and my alt is a Rodian as well, so I'm kinda SOL heh. Btw, Hyksos on Gorathis the BOMB! He made me a set of 80 kin/80 base RIS with zero to low encumberance on most of the peices and 43,700+ condition on all peices. This AS is truly worthy of praise!

I spent weeks killing gurks and hunting down kimogillas at great expense to harvest components, and fortunately an armorsmith told me that Rodians were unable to wear the armor before I paid millions to have it crafted. It certainly is disappointing to spend so much time and effort trying to accomplish something, only to have someone say, "Oh, well... we just didn't get around to finishing it. But we didn't get around to telling you that we didn't finish it either."
The lack of helmet deformations for Rodians seems especially strange since the helmet almost looks like it's made specifically for Rodians. I also find it odd that the Mandalorian Armor helmet was recently retooled to include more exotic races. Because we're actually going to see aliens wearing Mandalorian armor before we see them wearing RIS? To my knowledge only two or three Mandalorian helmets have ever been crafted on any server and two of those are museum pieces.
Hopefully if we all speak up we'll actually get the additional art assets on live servers. Failing that, we could at least be warned in advance.
