How much should Icharge for a set of composite like that?

And is it good anyway?

The HAM cost is high, 87 mind on most pieces. I really DO need those 2 extra experimentation points, hehe.

26-27%stun 70base is the stuff i stock my slcied vendor with most times cause it has high enough base to be useable enc sliced for people needing cheap armor and makes for great 90%base sliceing armor. I charge based on the slice with 2-300k for the 90%peices droping rapidly from there

No, just a bit tired when the same question gets asked for the umpteenth time. Server economies vary too much for anything related to pricing being reasonably discussed in this forum. Apparently I'm not the only one to feel so, or SOE wouldn't have made that sticky.

My advise is not to waste time with low stun. If you're going to layer out a vulnerability you need to make it as high as possible because every point of damage that goes through damages the armor proportionally. If you leave it as a vulnerability it doesn't hurt the armor. So either go all out (triple stun)or nothing.

The thing is, since NPC's are using specials/changing weapons again, sometimes stun batons, I wanted to keep the base high yet still leave out any vulnerabilities.

With 70 base itis fairly easy to get 90 base with a good slice and the 19 stun still takes a big chunk of damage from stun batons.

Example: you get hit with a stun baton for 1000 damage, AP0 vsAR1 takes 50% off so that leaves 500 and then the 19% protection leaves 405 damage that you actually take, still a lot less than 1000.

My problem is really the experimentation points, having only 10 I can still make 39 stun but the base would be around 63 making it impossible to reach 90 base.

Oh well, being the lazy fool that I am I hardly ever make armor to sell anyway. Mostly I just craft for friends and family

I disagree. If you want the highest possible protection you can have, you have to use either Electric layers or Stun layers to keep as much as possible in the base for slicing. It is harder to get high base with Electric layers since they use resources with lower caps, and besides using stun it at least provides some protection if you get attacked by someone with such a weapon.

Of course if you're heading for the geo cave or PvP you should use a high-stun suit, but a suit like this is for everything else. Well, with an eff slice.

I aggree, this is a good PvE armor. The weapons out their are either stun baton or jawa ion. This armor will help in either case. It really comes down to how you did the layers though. Did you lower the HAM and up the condition? The problem with the stun suits that are used in PvP is that they are very heavy. That means a lot of food and excellent buffs. Something you may not need to go hunting NPCs.

Course this leaves you with taking a lot of hit to the condition, however a 90% slice to kin rather than the 80% norm is half the damage done, 10% compared to 20%. So a 90% sliced Kin on a PvE suit of armor with a little stun protection, that is rarely used, would most likely last longer than the 80/80 specials. The range types would probably like the low ecombance so they can spam specials while meleers in 90% tank.

I think this is the new market in armor. Already people are looking at cold layers or blast layers to hit 90%. The fact is, 90% is half the damage of 80%, hard to get yes, but the armor lasts twice as long as do you in battle.
