After being an armorsmith for over a year, reading this comment from the devs scares me.

Brekkee - *Anon967* Are you going to be introducing any new faction armour?
justG - any new stufff? Not soon. But we ARE going to make the old stuff competative... fiercly competative. We want to see huge battles that look like Star Wars, not everyone in uber composite.

They're going to make the faction armor "Fiercly competative" with composite? This will fiercely drive down sales. If sales are down because of the faction armor, what is the point of even having the Armorsmith profession?

They will eventually give us the ability to craft faction armor. All in good time and heavy bribes.

I think they will keep in mind our profession when cranking up the old faction armor.

As long as they allow us to make something worth buying it sounds good to me.

Hopefully the faction armor will be made by buying a schematic with faction points, taking it to your local armorsmith, and having him make it for you. I just hope they don't make it another RIS armor by making the ingredients a pain in the azz.

First complete RIS set made for myself on Aug 1, 2004 with stats of approx 75% Kinetic/4% Stun/5% Acid/65% Base/vuln to Lightsaber. (unsliced)

Diwo (Master Armorsmith/Master Smuggler) - Semi-retired but still making RIS (email me for a guide on what you need for RIS)
Dharmonn (Swordsman)

DCORP Armorcrafting (Armor Division partially operating with 80% Kinetic Composite and 75% Kinetic Ubese up for sale)

Just get a Jedi to **edit** about it. That usually does the trick

I don't think they are making faction/mandalorian armor better as much as they are nerfing crafted armor to the point where the stats are comparable.

armor smith is going down the tubes anyways.with JTL what will they need us for, everyone will want to be in space. now they can keep us in it by letting us make some of the hull armor for the ships. but that would be sweet so it wont happen. so fellow AS get ready to be jacked.

ok ! we might get another new armor ! and with the vendor nerf and still no changes in item-limits on houses u got a serious storage problem !

am i the only one having this feeling ?

- i stock resources for all kinds of armor, wich means that if i didnt have guild stores ( on other toons lots) i would b forced to use all lots for storage !

- so my question is this;

with the vendor nerf comming, and no new item limits on stores how are the DEVs counting on us to have storage space for another 6-10 required resources ?

- i have made a batch of the new wookiee armors, but that also meant getting ANOTHER 7-10 required resources ! - so if we get new faction armor for both sides where will u guys stash these new resources ? - and what if the dam thigys will demand loots ???

dont know about u guys ! - but ill have to start selecting the armor i craft, wich again means no light armor as there are no money in it compared to the heavy tank armors !!

- so less N00b armor on the market ! and less variety ! - god the toons of this game will get boring to look at !

A suit of composite is still cheaper than a suit of faction armor..
