Hello,
A question for all you lifesavers, Armorsmiths, out there
I am wondering if it would be possible to make a 80% kinetic, 80% blast composite armor?
or even better would be a 80% kinetic, 80% energy, 80% blast.
I havent seen one with blast special protection yet, thats why i am wondering.
If you are a AS on ahazi and can help me out with making a armor, i would be very happy
if you contacted me in-game.

i don't see why not... unless your materials just won't let it happen, just make high base, and experiment the effectiveness up, use 1 layer of each, blast, energy, and kinetic. i'll try it when the server comes back up.

I've made 80% Kin, 80% Blast on Naritus...
I could also add 80% Energy to it, but that really ganks the HAM
80/80 sets could actually be HAM-sliced for non-buff wear...but 80/80/80 sets...no way...you'd have to be buffed to wear them...no way around it.
The thing is...
My 80/80 sets have 66% Base (IE...66% Energy)
...targeting energy for 80/80/80 raises the HAM about (+250 / +250 / +250) for the whole set...14%energy just isn't worth it IMO
...especially considering you could get 14% more energy out of an effectiveness slice quite easily...if that's your route

Yes, The HAM for a 80/80/80 comp armor is insane, but the buffs today on Ahazi easily hit 2.2k+
as for the 14% difference, which isnt much i agree. But 80% special protection is a HUGE difference from
80% base protection. Especially in PvP or high-end PvE.
Meeting a NS elder with a powerhammer is a nasty experience...
