Ok I took a long leave of abscence from the game and when I left everybody was making 80/78-80/67-69 adv comp. Now I get back and I see everybody has 80/80/70...I have Yensa, Devoriam, and Quadtetraiam for my layers. Could somebody please point me in the right direction to get back up to speed? Thanks alot,

funny thing is, i am in the middle of an armorsmith leave of absence too. lets see how the memory works. last i ran was 80/80/71 composite about 6 months ago, i did this with no points into the special protection in the layer, maxing the base layer resists, and the rest into integrity / condition / ham reduction. resources as follows:

layer:

omnikago polymer

bakou kammris iron

wehe amorphous gem (or os it weha - one is an amorphous gem, other is cubirian steel, i forget which is which)

segment:

ynesa polysteel copper

quadtetraiam colat iron

eci kiirium steel (not quite as good as devoriam)

final assembly:

ebo endorian wooly

icege beyrllius copper

? nabooian fiberplast (i cant remember the name, but there are 2 really nice ones. one shifted while you were away i believe)

? known solid petro (its 975oq, but i forgot the name)

esahghiam (sp) intrusive ore ?

epawi link steel aluminum ?

i'm not at home right now, so no computer or cheat sheets handy. i can tell you there are a few that have shifted in recently that are really nice. it has been a good past few months for new armorsmiths, with a pretty nice kiirium (how many months did we go without even a marginal one? 9, 10, 11?) good intrusive, colat slightly better than quadtetraiam, a phrik aluminum to die for (omninogeian) and a naboo fiber better than the last one that i thought would be the end-all. there havent been a lot of wooly hides go through, and one of the best was on corellia. as much as i want to make good armor, i cant do corellian wooly.

sadly, some resources are getting scarce. ynesa (selling as high as 50-100cpu sometimes) has not, and will not be replaced, omnikago is still the best polymer i know of. there was a decent polymer recently (agivo). not sure whether you were here for the wehe/weha amorphous gem either. icege is still the top for beyrllius, as it will be due to stat caps. devoriam, followed by eci, are still the best kiiriums i have seen.

this is the best i can do from memory. send me a tell sometime, and i can fill you in on newer resources. i have been out of the business for 6 months myself, but have tried to keep up on the best resources (thanks for the help micco), in anticipation of my return. look me up on iray (master time waster) or veli (noob master weaponsmith, soon to bemaster armorsmith). i'll try to give you all the info i can. i'm not a competitive armorsmith, so i'll do what i can, just a small time crafter trying to keep my friends and a few others in combat gear.
