Thread: Doesn't anyone make wookie ceremonial armor anymore?

I make Black Mountain instead of ceremonial now. Sure the HAM is atrocious in comparision, but you get the standard 80% Kinetic protection for grinding. I price my BM at around a third of what I price my stun Hunting Armor (when I have it in stock.. it sells too fast to keep in stock).

I think I still have a bunch of ceremonial segments stored if you want me to do a run. My last sets were in the 57-60 kin range right before hunting and black mountain were released. I make high cond (~30k) low HAM balck mtn as well (80kin/22ish base) to fill in and do a better (in my opinion) job than the old ceremonial.

As a Wookie I am greatfull to finally have such great armor available to me in the way of hunting armor. (I have some now that is 80kin, 86bas and 40 stun. It cost me a fortune (4mil to be exact ... I bought 5 full sets and had them sliced. this was the best result). My problem is that with a decent combat build that armor is overkill for PVE missions of any kind except maybe a nightsister and even that scenario is questionable.
When I PVE, I like to get the first buff I run accross (normally only 2200 or so) and dont take the time for mind buffs. I also only need about 50% kinetic resist. I have had a few ceremonial sets that were over 50%.
The ceremonial stuff worked just fine for pve and to be honest I prefer the look. I enjoy the benefits of the much lower encumbrance and I really like the fact that the stuff is very cheap in comparison. I normally buy it 5 or 6 sets at a time and often dont even get it sliced (since I have heard that sliced armor decaysa bit faster).
Anyhow. If you play on ahazi and still make sets of ceremonial armor with 50% kinetic (or so) please let me know. I would even be happy with black mountain if the prices are reasonable and the encumbrance is low (like half of the hunting).
Please respond it would be much appreciated.

I still wear Ceremonial armor. I can make 80kin/energy 65%base (unsliced) hunting, but the HAM costs are a bit on the high side. I have a couple of sets of enc sliced Ceremonial armor that are about 60%kinetic/26%base and have a HAM of around 200. As a rifleman, I dont get hit that much, and the Ceremonial works just fine for most mobs I hunt (rancors, voritors, etc.) I put on the hunting armor when I go after the higher end mobs.
Granted, that isnt what you were really asking, you should try asking your trade forum if you are looking to buy a specific set of armor.
