Hi all, I just did jabbas and saw that Boba Fett (who has mando armour on) had AP2 armour no him, then I thought of how much dmg you could reduce by having higher AP ratings.

So I am wondering what armour has more than AP1 in armour ratings, I think that RIS has the possibility to become AP2 or 3 thourhg interwoven schematics, but im not sure. Is it only RIS and Mando armour that can be better than AP1 armour rating?

Thx

I do believe that all personal armor is AP1

I do not know for certain on mando armor but I think it's AP 1 also.

No armor has over AP1, even crafted mando armor.

Would armor and PSG stacked give you AP2 ?

PSGs, if/when they work, work as a second suit of armor. The armor value is calculated with the AP value and then the resists come into play. After that the remaining damage is passed on to the armor where the same thing happens again. Its not AR2, its AR1 twice.

Thx for the replies guys, but I was really certain that using interwoven RIS schematic (or whatever its called), would give another armour layer or something making RIS AR2? If not, what does that schematic do?

yes and no. interwoven means you get to use a geo cube and another layer in the segment. but the rating is still ar1. you end up getting higher resistances out of the armor (3 5% layers is more then 2 5% layers...) but the ar rating is always ar 1 (light armor)
