Never seen anyone mention this although I'd think someone would have noticed it before....
I was on a guild hunt killing Giant Dune Kimogillas (looking for scales for RIS)
Didn't find any of those of course, but I digress.
I started tanking with my BE rancor, nice pet with stun/intimidate and such. He did well enough but the GDK's have some nasty specials, including plague strike and the special that gives stun/intimidate/blind all in one hit. The GDK lit up Stickyfingers (my rancor) like a christmass tree with these things.
As a joke, I pulled out my Kimogilla to give folks a jolt at an oportune moment. (that worked nicely) <evil grin>. Anyway I though why not use him as a tank for a while. His specials arn't so hot but he has good resists and HAM. Well after the second Kimo I noticed he didn't get hit with any of the Kimo specials, not one landed. Tanked two more and the same results, no specials landed in a good 20 minutes of constant combat. All the other tanks were diseased, intimideated, blinded etc, but not my kimo. He was getting hit plenty and the specials are area effect, but he appeared to be totaly imune to them.
So either he has amazng resists or they are simply immune to specials of the same creature type. Has anyone else noticed anythign like this?

I was messing around with some "Rancor Padded Armor Segments" today. I'm making pieces for an armor museum...so just base stuff here. Anyway, I noticed that some of my pieces came out 20 points lighter in health encumberance than others, and couldn't figure out why. Then it dawned on me...some of theolder segments were affected by the bug that caused health encumberance modifiers not to be displayed. I always assumed that the numbers were hidden, but still took effect in the background. Apparently, they do not take effect, and are treated as "0" health encumberance.
So...this news to anyone? I'm guessing this should work similarly on other segment types. Too bad mind encumberance wasn't hidden instead.
