Are these working as intended and have actual lightsaber protection?

PSG's have LS protection for a short period of time after being removed from a factory crate. It is not a visual bug - I've worn them and had a Jedi hit me to confirm that. Doing certain things like zoning, crossing a server boundary, logging off, etc. may make the resistance shift to a vunerability, but a server reset always removes LS resistance from uncrated PSG's.

As for wether or not it's intended, I don't think anyone can say for sure. Like so many things in SWG, the devs have directly contradicted themselves, saying that PSG's are intended to have LS resistance as well as saying it's a bug.
