Thread: Ris armor insanity!

Ok, after camping the woolamander temple for 2 days now hoping to slay and loot hte harrower bones I'm beginning to think the spawn has been bugged somehow. I've scoured the forums about ALL the info regarding the RIS armor and this seems to be my sticking point. Anyone else had a problem with the harrower bones?

They currently only spawn immediately after server reset, and don't spawn for the remainder of the day, until the next reset. Yes, it's a bug, and they're "aware" of it ...

Well, I'll be darned! I submitted a ticket today about it and I was told that the spawn was placed longer apart to stop campers. Which by the way is fair enough. The Warren has the same setup, spawns the key items one hour apart. But to deny that there was actually something wrong well, that changes things. So even tho they don't garauntee a drop, you've got to be there at 7am CST everydaywith your fingers crossed.

In last 3 days i have been in woolamander temple like 15 times...nothing spawns.
If the spawn is so rare and doesnt even quarantee a drop...aaargh...wheres the fun of playing the game
and going after something you want to accomplish?
How the hell are we supposed to get these uber rare drops...not enough that a single armor piece
requires 3 rare loots the loot droppers also dont spawn no more.
On Chimaera iquess theres like 10-15 master armorsmiths at the moment trying to do RIS.
How the hell can we get the parts with reasonably hard efforts...very hard is ok...but this is crazy.
Woolamander harrower drops will cost soon as much as a RIS armor piece.
With this spawn rate theres not enough for those AS who are working their butts off to get them.
Ones that get lootedwill probably be looted by some none AS and sold on trade forum.
The buyers will then be some huge guild support AS who has put no effort into getting these parts.
Dont like whining but just give us something to kill and loot. At least a spawn every 3 hours?
The camping problem is because they arespawning in only 1 place. Why not make 4 different spawn places with
say 6 hour timer? They wont be able or have enthusiasm to camp all places.
Then at least if its still camped by some#¤%& and sold on trade market the prices will be reasonable
andAS who really needs the parts can pay couple hundred thousand for it.

you want to know wht is insanity?
i have been getting up at server reset every day for the lat 3 weeks, i have missed only 2 woolamander spawns in that period, that is i have killed approx 19 spawns (38 woolamander harrowers) and only had one, yes one loot of 6 bones.
Now how is RIS supposed to be crafted at all when there are so few bones dropping?
now there is massive camping on my server, i have to fight between 3-4 people to kill the woolies and there is a chance of like 1 in 20 that one of us may get a loot of a few bones.................damn, if they are going to nerf the spawn rate, how about increasing the drop rate? or at least keeping ti the way it was. You used to be able to get a loot every 4 spawns or so...........with 23 spawns a day at least there was a supply of them. It is rediculous to see them going for more then GDK scales as they are on Valcyn

Loot has always been the center of the Star Wars economy. If you cant follow the simple supply/demand stuff in this game, then stop worrying about it.
RIS armor is RARE!!!!! Get it through your thick skulls. It's not supposed to be like composite.

I'm with you that it should be rare. I killed literally hundreds of GDK's when they were dropping single scales, enough to get certified and make my own personal suit. I was furious when the bugged drops started, and am still angry that they haven't fixed them. I've stopped making RIS for people who want to bring in the components for a full suit and throw worthless credits at me.
That all being said, having two chances to loot the bones every day is pretty silly. I camped that place when they were spawning every 67 minutes, and it was still mind-numbingly boring. I went ahead and paid an average of 2.25 million credits each for the remaining six bones I needed to make another suit for display (and use my existing set in PvE) so I can stop paying attention to how the devs screw up the RIS drops.

Yup, I checked anda CSR confirmed this. The Spawn is bugged. I have no probs knowing this since if they know it will get fixed. So to the one who says we have thick skulls? As we say where I come from, "UP YOURS!" I think we're smart enough to know the difference between RARE and BUGGED. Got a dictionary, look it up.

I'd advise against holding your breath.. you might die from lack of Oxygen
