Thread: Mabari Armor stats market for this?

Curious if there is a market for armor like this.
Mabari:
Special Protection:
Blast 5%
Heat 17%
Kinetic 32%
Energy 4%
Effectiveness:
Cold 27%
Electricity 27%
Vulnerability:
Stun
Acid
Lightsaber
With the energy effectiveness in it, it covers two of the main damage types. Maybe good for people not wanting heavy armor but a little protection for running low end missions or checking harvs?

Throw a couple suits on the vendor and see if they sell. Each galaxy is different. On Kette, I would say they won't sell fast, but will likely sell. I just put base 25% Mabari on the vendor today. I had gotten an order for 5 suits, so made some for the vendor, too. Last time I had time to make Mabari it sold in about a week.

Probably not worth the time and effort.. I sell Kinetic Composite /shrug

That's really good kinetic for mabari, and excellent armor for beginners.
It might sell really well, but not a lot of cash.
I'm very appreciative that one of the major AS on Corbantis sold Mabari when I was just starting out.

Isold maberi on several servers. I used to sell it on Intrepid for 50k a suit if it was enhanced, 25k unenhanced. I sold for 10k a suit unenhanced, 15k enhanced, on Kauri, Chimaera, Shadowfire. On test, it's 3k a suit reguardless ( when I make it). I've never had any problem selling it. Make sure you color it, non default. People buy it like crazy in bright red/black, imperial purple/black, red/white etc.... It can look really cool, and it's disposable. With most people buffed, it can be better than ubese, simply because it's more disposable. Maberi is cheaper than a buff, takes 50% of the damage off the top, and can be thrown away afterwards. Seriously, I've made more credits off maberi than any other armor....

i started using up my spare base shards
my mabari is around 23% base and 50/50/50 HAM for an entire suit
people like it and the color combos

I'd encourage this Its good armour and there is little in the way of non-Composite Armour on our server (infinity). you need to make sure that price is right and you could make a packet out of the niche non-composite armour market.

I'm starting an armor vendor west of mos eisley selling mabari with an 18% base and some ubese armor. I'm going to be selling all armor types...eventually. But selling the mabari for 10k a suit, as I'm just dumping my sub-standard hides on that. I figure that I won't be making much profit anyways, so why waste my good hide on it? I am also selling ubese armor on a low scale at 50k per suit. Sorry I don't have specifics on me as I'm at work, and I may even change to a lower-quality wooly and drop the kinetic protection a few %'s to keep my prices low.
