I'm a Rebel Armorsmith, and I'm wondering how to get the faction armor schematics. Novice Armorsmith/Private is my profession/rank.

The only way is to buy it from a recruiter with faction points. Either grind out faction with a combat alt, or buy the points faction points from a smuggler. It is expensive to buy the points, and it is time consuming to grind the points. But thats the only way. If you are reb you will want to buy them from a recruiter that is on a reb controlled planet, the faction point cost will be lower. Good luCk

My main char is a Smuggler, and like I said I'm Rebel on the crafting one now as well. But I've tried talking to the recruiter, and there's no option for the schematic.

You must be an armorsmith to buy the schematics. Transfer faction to your armorsmith and buy the schems.

I guess I'm not being clear, though how I don't know: my Armorsmith alt is Rebel with Rebel FP. I cannot purchase the schematics from the recruiter though.

You must be a MASTER armorsmith to buy factional schematics.
