Hi,

I have heard all the rumors but also heard of the success stories....Is there a definative out there...? I have been hunting Gian Dune Kimos out of Kimo town for a while now and not had one single drop..I have been told I never will. Is this true?

Have any of you had a drop from Kimo recently? Any known hot spots for wild spawns other than the volcano area?

Any help to confirm or dispell the myth would be appreciated

I have gotten at least two stacks of GDK scales in the last 2 weeks, THey drop but are rae, more often get battle cores. I will buy those if you get them as well.

well their definately dropping on Bria. Some of the stuff is old pre-cu stock. But lately at least the market on bria has been flooded with a supply of GDK scales.

In the last three days I've looted over 50 scales. I've found that the GDK drops scales one out of ten times. You just have to have the patience to wait a bit.

The Kimo Town GDK does drop scales.

they are dropping on starsider at kimotown, though not as often as 1 to 10. I was out there several days in a row and yesterday got one a stack of 7 on the first try then no loot at all on the next 12, so we left. I was able to finishe the RIS quest finally with those we got yay.

I spent 2 days witha buddy on Bloodfin, and they are dropping at Kimo-town too, but sadly its like 1-30 kills...
