Faction armor is better than any player made armor? If so then I think that sucks, armorsmiths should be able to make the best stuff. Can someone let me know if this is true? If so are they planning on changing it ?

No.. faction armor is not better than player made armor.. in some cases maybe, but composite blows it away.

Unless you are on radiant where the only way to get composite is to bribe a dev to fix our resources and give us a third shift

Once you master pilot, if you drop it and start over that you get double xp, and if you drop it again, you get triple, etc?

You get a bonus equal to the experience for each FACTION you have had a master in. For example, if you master one imperial squadron and then drop it, you will get double XP. But then getting a 2nd Imperial Squadron master and then dropping it doens not gain you an additional bonus. If you get a freelance faction squadron master and an Imperial master you will effectivly get triple XP.

Okay, so if I get mster rebel pilot, drop it to go imperial for the JSF, and then go back to rebel and regrind rebel pilot, I should be getting double xp, right?

Yes, and if you decide to master the imperial pilot you would be gettin triple XP on your 2nd run of Rebel
