absolute cap is now 8592 energy with perfect layers (unlikely) generally server best sliced is 8500ish. (8100 unsliced)

PSGs will never resist sabers. It's already been stated that PSGs will only resist ranged energy weapons, which a saber is not.

Uhm... in the films, jedi seemed to have a few problems with the shields of droidekas...

Since when has SWG ever been truly accurate to the movie? Just stating that PSGs have already been said will not ever resist sabers. Not much I can do about that.

For now, yes. The new slicing system doesn't seem like it will affect armor resists at all (which is a good thing, IMO).

It seems to add roughly 400 (give or take a few depending on where you start) on quad layered resists.
I think a 6477KEPadded pieceturned into 6878or so the other day for me.

the new slicing system gives extra condition or a 3% chance to deflect 50% of attack b4 armour.. stuff like that.
