Ok so the Devs decided that wookiees get armor too. Now my question is how much will they go for? and what are gonna be the stats, according to one of the Dev's the armor is gonna be as good as Composit and it's craftable!!! so you guys tell me if you gonna charge more than composit armor or not?

Since its going to be more than likely 'organic' armour, then its going to use a lot of hides (as a guess)

Therefore expect the armour to cost a whole lot more than the equivalent price of composite.

Hopefully the armour will use comparable materials to composite though, which will enable us to keep the price down.

I will fix a price when I find out what type of materials are needed for it. Don't worry I won't overcharge the wookie, for i support their cause for armor.

As a wookiee and new armorsmith I kind of see this as my market area... I have a goal to make each suit I make wearable out of the box.... I keep farily good wookiee stats

I will set my price according to what it costs to make the armor... If its all Hide its going to be very expensive... and frustrating.....

But I hope it has a nice mix of resouces need to make it... Things I could see being used in it to make it diffrent...

Endoian Fiberplast or Polymer
Doonium Iron (Same metal used in the Bowcasters)
Some kind of Gemstone
Leather for the padding (wookiees aready have Fur for comfort and to get away from the wooly depedency)
A Steel (choose one of the many steels)
A Hard Wood (kind of going in spirit with the idea of Nature and Technology blend that defines wookiees in EU content)

Renforced Fiber Pannel and a Synth Cloth as the last componets...

i strongly disagree, if they make it require leather(im guessing you mean the looted kind) and doonium iron then it will be almost as rare as RIS armor if yuo didnt know doonium iron is rare as hell last time i checked and the leather isnt that easy to come by either

No I am not talking the Loot Leather...

I am talking something like Lokian Leather Hides or Endorian Leather... things that can be gotten by hunters with ease...

As for the doonium Iron I am only suggesting it... Plus eclipse just had a spawn of 919OQ /831SR /925UT /482MAL of Doonium Iron... and yes I am minning it by the ton... Even if its not used in anything but the Shields or some of the layers as a base metal...

i am expecting this to be in the same leauge as comp so i expect this to be a master lvl set.

well im sure they will do it like the bowcaster and make it only craftable by wookies ...so for those of us that arent wookies dont get your hopes up

I totally disagree, there are far too many wookies in the universe, and it would be totally unfair to make it wookie only, the uproar would be huge....I thought we had covered this topic.

This is the first new content since launch for the Armorsmiths, to make it only craftable bya small percentage would not be fair toarmorsmiths in general (especially because a lower percentage of armorsmiths are wookies, due to their not being able to wear it before now).

as for price....I don't predict being able to make it as I don't predict having the specifics it needs right off the bat, but I would guess it will depend on the stat quality and the # of organics.

Not true about this being first new content. They gave us RIS, we were first class with new content, and now Imperial PSGs.

Not thateither is really all that useful (the PSG is ok to some degree), but they have given us some new stuff.

Could you point us to whereit was stated that is was going to beas good as composite? I don't recall ever reading anything along those lines. Thanks.
