it depends if u have a lot of them. some AS's can put something like that to some use in ubease for example.

I have lots of them maybe 20 in various sets of 3, 4, 5 etc... Do they have to be identical like the heavy duty leather or janta blood?

it depends on the arour. since i cant get to SWG atm. (dad's on the games machine) i would say that it would help in any case but it may not be nessary.

Hey Skwint,

In my opinion Janta Hide is probably the best enhancer component to add to Composite segments. In most stun armor you have to sacrifice the base to increase your stun protection. The best armorsmith will do a 39% stun and 66% base armor. Well with the 3% increase in the base by the Janta hides will put the base of that armor at 69%. The trick here is hoping for a master smuggler to give it the max effectiveness slice of 35%. Which would bring your armor to 90% base and 39% stun.

I think armor with kind of stats and no vulnerbilty will be in very high demand. And yes they have to have same serial numbers because you will need 5 of the same to make just a chestplate. As for pricing put a few on the trade forums and see what you can get for them. You can always get more of them right?

I was wondering if you guys could give me a hand. I was curious how much Janta Hide is worth? I've asked around my server and the trade forums but no one seems to know and I figured I'd try this forum. Is this straight to vendor material like some voritor segments or is this of real worth? The examine screen reads as followed

Janta Hide

Base Effectiveness 3%

a component to enhance armor segments (or something like that)
