Well here i am 4-2-3-4. i aint that far away now. ( just gotta wait for some more cloth *sighs* ) and i was happy at the idea that i would soon get my wish of being a master armoursmith and being able to make sets of comp for a PA buddies. but a thought struck me. all this time i had my focus solely on the PA market, never the genral public. my qestion to you is simple. whats the profession like after the grind?

Depends.
Custom is a pain in the butt, IMO. If you just do vendor sales, then life is a lot easier. You can make armor on your own time.
I did the custom route at first and it about made me want to quit. I hate getting tells every 5 minutes asking if the armor is done.

Vender is good way to go, much less agrivation. If you get planet map advertising and can keep some good quality stuff on a vender, you can make money pretty guick. I started doing layered comp and have made 5 mil in a month. 80% kinetic armor sells pretty well it seems.

I do it if they ask nice. If they are stupid or want something outragious and arn't willing to compensate me well enough then I say no. This is supposed to be a game, if it looks like it will be more like work than I don't do it, I get paid to work, I don't get paid to play this game.
