Could anyone offer a list of the possible armors to buy and the how each stack up?
I need to get a new suit of armor other than this free bone one..and I don't know which to buy, thanks

If you only do PVE get some high kinetic ubese, otherwise get composite. All the others either suck or are harder then they should be to make and as such are very hard to find.

Gabriel, check out the sticky thread at the top of this forum called The Complete Guide to Armor and Armorcrafting for a good overall description of the overall armor types.
Assuming you are not a wookie, then owako is correct. Ubese and Composite are pretty much the only choices. You might be lucky and find an armorsmith making decent Mabari on your server, but even that's only a good option if you're a ranged combatant and with a group. If you don't have a lot of money you're pretty much limited to Ubese.
