Hey guys. Not an Armor Smith and not sure what these are worth, but I looted 9 Armor Segs with 23% and 12500 integ. All same serial #. Can anyone tell me what these are worth?
Thanks.

They would make some high condition armor, but a good smith can make higher resists. They arn't that valuable, I would make you some armor with them if you were offering them to me, but I wouldn't pay much for them.

I like answering these questions. Like to see what enhancments ppl get.
THe % is low on these, but the integrity is real damn high. You make high durability armor, but it will have some low base %.

he was just asking if they where worth anything, which they are not.
I had a guy have me make composite out of krayt segs once not realizing that they whern't that good (I was a pretty young MAS at the time) and when they turned out to only be 49% Base the guy got crazy and thought I was trying to rip him off.

Well, he was asking what they were worth, not if they were worth anything...big difference. One is a price check, the other is just an item check.
Look, Ive run into Mandrake a few times, and he's a nice guy (from my dealings with him), but this isnt a price check forum. Sure, this may be the first time he's done it, but this board gets 3-4 of these a day. I would just prefer to see more posts asking about how to use such segments, instead of what they are worth.
We have representatives from 26 servers here, a price check is only going to be accurate 1 out of 26 times if you post price checks in this forum. It will be much more accurate in the Chilastra Trade forum.

It's not a trade post, it's a general "are these valuable?" (quote taken from subject) question that is applicable to the profession in general. It's a matter that can be answered by any competent smith from any server. I like your intent with your post, but the guy was not breaking any rule bringing it here

I guess Im the only one, but...

...sure looks like a price check to me. A couple hours earlier, in a different thread, he asked for a price check on some Krayt scales as well.
Like I said, if he had asked the best way to use them, or what we thought we could make with them, it would be a completely different story. But in this case, he clearly asked what they were worth.

They might be useful for making armor such as bracers which last long anyway for folks who mostly PVE and would like to place skill tapes in an object that would be around for a while. Otherwise I can't think of a use.

An Item's 'worth' and it's 'cash value' are two different things.
