Hi Folks,
I'm a fairly new armorsmith, and after having made some decent kinetic and stun armor, I was interested in making some vette/DWB armor. I know 80% energy is a must, but a friend suggested that I include 80% heat as well... any theories on which damage types are best suited to vette/DWB runs?

Nothing on the Corvette does Kinetic damage. Everything stays ranged, even the SBDs. I suggest Energy and either cold or acid resists (noticed a lot of DXR carbines and cold rifles up there).
EDIT: For the DWB, they actually switch to melee attacks when you get close to them. Most will use kinetic damage, but I have seen them use a lot of different melee weapons.

Well, when the vette first opened, the mobs switched to melee frequently. Now that the stuff sells like mad, and my customers know it by name...I just keep it kin/ene.

I used that stuff for the DWB (well, wookiee version). It works spectacularly. Also great for grinding faction, etc.

I have made Special CC and DWB armors
but with the last NPC changes its useless in the DWB because all mobs use all kind of range and melle weapons so high base Armor is the key now with good high base slice I did make special for the DWB cold energy and Kinetic 80% layerd armor to get the cost down from the runs for every one of our DWB team. but because of those NPC changes I have sold them for 100k a suit now no big use for it
