Thread: Help Needed: Looted some exceptional Krayt Segments 20% base

You sure you wrote that right? 20% base is nothing for kraytsegments. Maybe hides?
Exceptional loot often has only one of that stats 'exceptional'.... In this case it seems it may be the integ. If the integ is really that high could make some good AA holding armor bracers, or something like that.
So with these I and the lovely resources we have on Kettemoor, (lol) I would be able to make 57% base very low HAM/high condition armor that would be slicable to 77% base, on a very lucky day.
So dont underestimate the power of the Krayt segment :-)
Hmm I can remember, but I even think that with K segments the electricity will stay in base also.. :-)

I just made some Kraty segment comp the other day and it had all the resists in one catagory. Is everything moved to the general resist line? Don't remember.
Krayt Segments will put all the resists into Base. Meaning it's slicable. Though Stun will still be a vulnerability on those pieces of Composite.

Indeed, which has always led me to believe that player-crafted composite segments are bugged and havewhat amounts to aninherent electrical layer in them.
Looted segments for other armor types do not have the armor's usual special protection listed anywhere on them, yet they still come out with the normal special protection (ie, Kimogila Scale Segments for Bone Armor, Acklay Hides for Padded, etc).
Plus, when you experiment on what would normally be special protection on final composite construction, you're actually increasing the condition, rather than the electrical protecion. Experimentation on "durability" on final composite construction only affects encumberance.
So, really, composite is rather bugged from my point of view. But it's not as if they're game-changing critical bugs, either, so whatever ...
