I started making kinetic layers with 2% base, 6% kinetic, with ham of 5/5. Is this good, and what kind of armor should i be able to put together with this?

Try making some Ubese with it and see how it comes out. When I want to test my resources, I will make gloves/hand armor because they usually only need one armor segment (which you can hand craft instead of factory run)

yeah..i can't get about a 13% kenetic layer with 2% bas and around 20 ham....i am about at a 96% though..so maybe i can get a 14% with better resources...muwhahaha

Experimenting kinetic fully I get 94% resists. 14%kinetic, 2% base, 15/15 ham, and 357 integrity.

I've gone with 91% resists tho: 13% kinetic, 2%base, 13/13 ham and 420 integrity for my layers tho.

Hi,

My kinetic layers are 2% base and 13% kinetic. HAM is about 15 or 20 - don't remember.

Resources on Lowca are not that great so I hope to make better when something better spawns.

Always wondered this, but I cant get ingame to experiment with it atm,

What % on the layers do you need to make 80% kinetic?

Like, if I wanted to make 80% kin, 80% energy, and 80% electric, what layers and stats should i get?

It depends. If your armor base regularly is 60%, than you need a combination of base on the layer(s) and kinetic from the layer(s) of 20%. A good way to make it work would be two 4% base 6% kinetic layers. That would help your base and get you to 80% kinetic. Basicly you should only go as far with kinetic (or whatever layer you are using) to get to 80%, above that is a waste.

For me, its just not possible only because of the resources I have.

However, my kinetc and energy layers start at 26% base and 20-somthing dur. So its my final combine and seg resources that need improved.

(unlayered segs are 19% unlayered gloves are 54%)

That said, I think getting 26% base from the start on your layers is a must.

So I'd say one 2 /10+ kinetic and one 2/10+ energy and a maxed 92% electricity layer.

For meat best willgive me 75% kin/energy but at least the recipe is a way to get there. you will be in good shape if you can hit 80/80/80 with 10% kinetic and energy layers.

Those that can make it are very skilled and have top top resources but those who can make it light without loot are legendary if you ask me. The gloves come out above 80 H/A/M for me.

Right, but say I only wanted to get 80% kinetic, what is the bare minimum kinetic% i should have with all three of my layers?

The only reason I say this is because I think that when I'm making 80% kinetic grinding comp, I think I'm dumping too many points on the kinetic layers special protection, and not enough on the base %.

I like the lowbase/low ham 80% kinetic comp. As kinetic really is the only res you need.

So I go with 2% base and 6-7% kinetic layers.

I make about 56% base UNLAYERD comp, so add 3 x 2% from base and 3 x 6% from kinetic and you get 80% kinetic. This turns out VERY light with 12 points. I think I use 7-8 of 12 points into lowering ham on the layers.

Its all math Always know what your unlayered comp comes to and you can just add up from there.

You need to calculate it out useing your meterials for a sure answer or make some gloves and narrow it down, but..

The short answer I guess would be to first look at two 4/4 and maybe one 4/5-6 layer for decent base or perhaps three 2/7-9 layersand see what you get.

Consider thatif youjustBARELY hit 80% (76% before last point)you aresuccessfully maximizing your resources to your recipe.

Nice, so basically around 14% kinetic on the seg will hit 80% barely, and I can dump all the other points to base and/or encumberance

I have been making low HAM 80% Kinetic using 2 - 2% Base 4% Kin layers and one 2% Base 5% kin

HAM is very low (my apologies I do not have stats handy)

I have to use premium hide to get the chestplate to hit 80% kinetic
