Short version: factory crate armor does not match what you select NOR does it match the "default" color that is preselected on the schematic build screen.

Long version: I ran 12 runs of primus layers, 9 runs of segments, cores, and armor (padded)parts. I ran mulitple assemblies untilI had 4 sockets on each piece. I purposely did not alter the color as it was displayed on the schematic build screen. The factories were previously creating armor in the colors you selectedOR the default color. Logic (this is whereIbelieveI wentwrong) said if I left the color the default, both color options the factory might kick out would be the same.... So.... I named them all blue on grey and turned the factories on.

When I pulled items from the factory crates I got..../drum roll....green on light grey chest and helmet.... and red of light grey for everything else.... so i have 70 full sets of 6500+ primusbattle armor with 4 sockets on each piece, if messed up colors allwith "blue on grey" in theitem name...

All I can say is W T F???

Its a known bug since Publish 17...

They are working on it, actually have made several failed attempts to fix it too. This affects Tailors also.

And yes, it *#¤&" big time.

And people have been getting unexpected colors (neither the specificied on nor the default color) on padded for a while. Black on black still seems to work for most folks, not that it helps you now.

Even if they fix this, I don't know if I'll ever be able to trust a factory again!

Maybe a push for adding armor smith/tailor created coloring tools for armor/clothing would be the better way to go, or better yet just make it a innate ability for armorsmith and tailors to change the colors of stuff they can create.

All the converted pre cu armor being the same colors is bad enough, but with the factories not pumping out the right colors any one of the following 3 should be implementedtool /radial menu /proffession specific ability

I actually got to bed late and got very little sleep last night due to having to craft all armor by hand to get the colors right. And the funny thing is, all of my customers are by referral, they all come to me willing to pay extra cause I will make their set of armor with the colors they want.

hard to get large amounts of 4 socket stuff by hand. That's why i was willing to do the "default" color... I did not know it was completely random.

Now i have 35mil in armor suits that i can't sell and Customer service won't do **edit**, even though I have seen them change colors before. (They won't do anything because it is someone else's department! **edit** man, just get the job done!)

Best of luck to the radiant armorsmiths.... i've canceled. Maybe change my mind, but why... they don't care about us anymore.
