I've had an Ubese Armor Shirt for quite a long time now (at least a year or so), always figured it would still hold armor attachments when the time came that I actually got something worth putting it in.
Apparently not, got a +21 Heavy Weapons Defense +9 Ranged Defense attachment, and a +9 Heavy Weapons Speed attachment. Both armor. Now I try and drag, find out that apparently it no longer holds armor attachments.
Thus the quandry. Even though the Heavy Weap attachments are by no means "expensive" compared to others, I still paid good money (for me) on them. I already have a Grenadiers Belt with some other heavy weapon attachments in it, so a no-decay Marbari belt is out of the question even if I could find one for sale.
The only option I can see is to pick one piece of my armor (easier said than done, I have 2 sets of armor 1 Shock Trooper and 1 Bounty Hunter), and turn to the dark side and ADK it. I can't by any means afford to buy one.
Am I missing anything, or am I going to be forced to take my ADK as my 30 month veteran reward (No, I haven't taken it yet, because its a game breaking piece of junk that should have never been put in....) just because I don't have enough money to throw around replacing armor attachments?

I think you have a good grasp of the situation. Best best (without using the ADK) is to stick the AAs in the BH bracers (highest condition) and get them sliced for impact deflection to reduce condition loss.
