looking for some info from other AS's on rebel battle armor. i just crafted2 biceps with what i think are amazing stats but has seen other armor with better stats on the low end. the armor i crafted had these stats 6003/6003/5723 +45 to health. i would like some info on how ppl pull a 6000/6000/6000 armor or higher stats.

Agree, sounds like you used Primus layers?

You need better resources.

If you can get both your segment andcore experimentationinto the low-mid 90's, you'll get 6K/6K/6K.

everything i used was 900+ in DR,SR,OQ except the corillian fiberplast which was 878. yes i did use primus layers with krayt scales. plus i have a +13 armor assembly tape on my robe. any addition input would be great.

DR doesn't matter till final combine

look for stuff with higher OQ and SR that may have low DR

It's the cores and segments that control the final protection of the armor. If you get an unlayered battle cored to 5600 protection, it will hit the cap when you assemble the armor. You will never get 6000 across the board using layers because they always reduce a stat by more than they raise another.

And I meant to point out that the segments play the largest role in the core's stats. They make up half the resists but require many fewer resources than the cores and those resources are easier to find.

The layers say so in the description, yes, but whenever I make layered armor the negative statis reduced by exactly as much as the layer improves the opposite stat.. E.g. energy layered recon comes out as 3849/8151/6000 even if the layer says -96/+95.. I am not sure if this only comes into play when the core is over cap-able stats though..

I support the NGE - NOT!
