Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding RIS. Are the following compoments all I need to have a 4 pcs suit made? 9 GDK scales, 9 gurk king hides, 9 woolamander bone fragments and 9 peko peko feathers. And what do I need to look out for in order to get a suit with killer stats?

Thanks

If you are only needing 4 pieces, than you only need 4 GDK, 4 bones and 4 hides. The peko fethers are optional.

NS layers and shards help make a real good suit, and if you are getting interwoven, a real nice yellow cube with base around 6%+.

Thanks,

Just a few more questions. How many pcs of NS layers and shards do I need for each peice of armor and is the cube the only item I need to worry about stats?

Thanks again

I like to use 2 NS layers per segment with at least 8% base in ea. Each piece of RIS only takes one segment, so you will need 8 NS layers. Also, 1 NS shard per segment. Only use the NS shard if the base on segment will high enough to hit 80% on the finished product. If the base is too low, a Janta hide is prefered. Again, you can only use 1 per segment, so you would need either 4 of the NS shards or 4 of the janta hides.

If you have high enough base without a yellow cube, Ilike to use a green cube with high integrity. That way you can get some very high condition RIS.

I would seriously talk to the AS you plan on having make this for you. Find out how he like to make his RIS. You need a min of 23% base added into the segment in order to hit 80% base on the final product. But this will vary from AS to AS, depending on his resources.

You will want 2-3 layers, 1 cube, and 1 shard per piece. I used 8% layers, 10% cube, and -40 mind shards on mine and got an unsliced suit 80/80 around 156 total mind encumberance. Its nice

You need a multiple of the number of pieces you're making for the NS Layers. That is to say: If you're making a mini-suit, (4 pieces,) then you want 4, 8, or 12 NS Layers, though 8 or 12 would be overkill. As for NS Shards, you'd want 4: You can only add 1 biological enhancement per segment. You really need to spec out what you're making: If you're making Interwoven RIS, (the looted schematic for the segment,) the you can add three layers to your suit. How are you going to do those three layers? Triple Acid? Triple Stun? Triple Kinetic? Double Acid/Stun/Kinetic and a NS Layer to reduce HAM? You can also choose to add a different type of both the Geo cubes, (reducing HAM with red, increasing durability with green,) and the segment enhancer. Instead of a NS Shard, you can also add

As for which stats matter, the Geo Cube Stats matter. The Segment Enhancer Stats matter. The resources that go into your layers and segments and combines matter. ALL STATS MATTER. You're an armorsmith. You don't get to cheese out on anything. Welcome to our resource hell.
