Thread: Armor crafting and conversion from the current system to the CU

The devs have said that the best stuff now is still going to be the best stuff after the CU.
Hoping that this is the case, but with the CU breathing down our necks and alot of things in limbo, we have a few options, and I'd like to see what everyone is doing.
Knowing that your customers are going to expect you to be stocked on CU day, are you:
1) Crafting padded, ubese, chitin, etc, now and hoping for a good conversion on CU day?
2) Waiting for another week or so until we get a little more information, with the plan being to start crafting prior to CU day?
3) Going to wait until CU day and then explain to your customers that you wanted to wait until the CU to start making the new armors because you wanted to make sure that you were able to make the best that you could make under the new system?
I think that I am going to do a combination of2 and 3. I think that I am going to wait a few days until moreinformation trickles out, then start makingsome of the currently less popular items in order to have at least 25 sets of each on my vendors on CU day.If we are given something more concrete regarding conversions, I will really begin to crank out armor, so that I can have closer to 100+ of each there on CU day. Of course, once the CU comes, I will continue to crank it out even more.

From what I just read unless they change it, you might want to make 100 suits of everything you can until all your current stock of resources are used up
That way you can get the most out of what you have in case this asinine idea of making OQ/UT the new standard for us.
Thats just for today I am sure it will change Tomorrow though,lol
I am planning on using up half of all my resources as of right now because of this new information

got to mucth composite stock still selling like madman still but proberly still have 500-700 suits left over so convert them and put them onvendor again and making new in the main time

Since I'm busy with my examproject, I'm more or less forced into option 3. I don't have the time to devote to crafting real armor right now.
But I would probably wait regardless of my free time.
