Well i've read a bunch about armorsmithing now, and just mastered it today finally. My question is about armor layers. If i just make a suit of armor with no layers, what does that turn out to be? Or one with layers, if they are not standard?

I guess the real question is, am i expected to make all armor with layers? Or is that a special thing

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

if your unlayered stuff is good, you could never make a layered suit and do just fine
