Thread: Is there a market?

I have tons of resources available for composite that would not be considered elite. What I am wondering is, besides the elite armor I provide on special order and to friends, is there a market for grinding armor? For example, 80% kin 73% elect and 60% base unsliced. If so how much would you recommend selling it for. I started this toon for the sole purpose of providing composite to guildies and eventually R.I.S. Now I have tons of "ok" resources left lying around and am doing nothing with them. Just figure for grinding out fs or what ever you really dont want to pay alot for great armor just to waste it.

There is always a market, especially if you can sell "Krayt-slayer" armor (80% kinetic and random base) to a really low price. As it has been mentioned on other occasions, you have to check with your server trade forum / local smiths for pricing. I would not go above 75% of the price for good, unsliced armor.

Thanks for the info. Sorry to askhere, but I figured I would ask in this forum to see what other armosmiths have seen on their servers. I have really never been in this forum. Kinda trial and error until a friend told me about a post on R.I.S layers. Thanks again.

haha! I've been making Krayt bashers without even noticing it . I make armor of all types,That way they have some protection (and they don't have to spend a long time gathering money to buy it). Supply and demand.

Yah, I actually found out last night that for the price I was thinking, 20ka piece, was going to be alot lower then the rest of the server. The way I look at it is its 180k a suit and if I can sell alot of it and get the stuff out of my factories and storage then I make money doing it. Thanks for the help.

There are several Armorsmiths on Naritus that make a similar type of armor. I believe people will wear anything that has 80% Kinetic for grinding. With a nice encumbrance sliced suit it would be great to wear for grinding and it is still far better protection wise than Ubese and Padded while being far cheaper to produce en mass.

Best advice any of us can give is to make a run of ten or twenty suits and see how they sell. I would price them less than what top flight Composite goes for but don't underprice if you want to be able to replace your resources when that time comes.
