I know we can't experiment on it, but it usually the armorsmith that explains how armor affects people. I've looked around for this answer, but have seen anything that address it.
I made some Std. Marauder armor. When examined, the hindrances say
Base Your's
-30% -10%
What is the difference between these two numbers? Is the base the hindrance for the piece, but the Your's the actual hindrance taking in my capabilities? I only have 2 carbineer boxes (novice and one other).

"Base" is the hindrance of the armor. "Yours" is how it would affect you based on any mirigations granted by your profession.

Cool...great for me.
But this seems odd since its Standard armor and I barely have any carbineer skills. I thought with my experience Basic would have been so much better, but I think I can handle 10%.
