I just gave up caring. I converted all my armor. sliced it again. And I'll be selling it soon at a next to 0 proffit just so I at least make my money back to buy the new resources with. Thankfully I've got a wonderfully supportive guild and I managed to get a good chunk of the resources I didnt have for the new scheamtics from them. (Plenty of crafters in the guild and we all help one another out so yay).
Though I still got hit so far for the tune of a few mil at least. Which for me is a big deal since I've yet to ever have more than 5 mil on me at any one time.
Well I would say that the reason it has only spawned 11 times is becuase 1) it didn't come out till jtl (obvious) and 2) because they spawn for about 20 days at a time and they only spawn on 1 planet at a time.
At any time in the game each of the JTL resources are spawning so it's simply a matter of finding which planet the particular resource is on.
Each of the three advanced layers use perovskitic aluminum, a resource that has only spawned 11 times on Eclipse ever. In addition, I remember once upon a time a dev saying the new resources were chosen because they had high numbers in the stats armorsmiths look for. . . perovskitic has only spawned with an OQ higher than 400 four times, higher than 700 twice. Its never had an SR higher than 800. Even if we go back and look at UT, its highest UT on Eclipse has been 758.
Gravatonic Fiberplast same thing. . . Vintrium Extrusive Ore. . .
Now I am guessing that with the launch of RotW, deep mining is gonna have all the resources that were introduced during JTL. That's great. That still gives us little to no selection on resources thus far. And with this stuff spawning only once per shift, and having extended shift cycles (I think, sorry if this is not correct), these were poor choices.
How is it that pre-CU the only schematic we had that used Carbonate Ore was cold layers, and afterwards most layers need Carbonate Ore EXCEPT Cold Layers.
So, I don't know. Its not right to charge people 15 dollars a month and then say to them "In order to fix the game how we envisioned it, we need you guys to take several blows for the team. You're essentially gonna be on life support, and we're not gonna tell you much or help you out much for a while because we have plenty of other bugs we're gonna need to fix, just like most of the bugs you reported during testing didn't get fixed by the CU release. And you can't really do combat anymore because with the skill points you need for armorsmith, you can only get to about level 30. But thats OK, because you're all rich right? Right?!?"
I usually don't whine, but when you log on and find your player is unplayable in any way except for hunting durni's, its quite a bit rough.
