To my understanding, Bounty Hunter Armor is a new set of armor we can craft (just like Mabari, Wookie, Ubese) for players to use.
Not only is it functional armor, but the pieces of Bounty Hunter Armor can be taken to the Death Watch POI by certain crafting professions and upgraded to Mandalorian Armor.
I think that the Tailor can upgrade the Boots and Gloves, and the Droid Engineer can upgrade the Bracers and Helm, and the Armorsmith does the rest. I'm not 100% on which crafter gets what, but it is those three professions that need to do the upgrade.

there are some threads with someone posting some screenshots from the test center. You actually need a Master Tailor and Master Armorsmith in the Deathwatch bunker to do the quest. Pretty cool..

Forgive my ignorance but what drops Bounty Hunter armor? Or where is it found? I thought it was coming out the same time as the Deathwatch Dungeon but I found some of this armor on a vendor tonight.

You say "forgive my ignorance" yet if you really cared about it instead of just apologizing as a pacifier, why couldn't you just take 5 minutes to look around a second or even do a quick search? There are already dozensthreads just like this all over the forum right now. Look around, you'll find it.

Hey! Thanx for that little piece of advice! I did look around before a few pages in and found little of use.... But now that you've spread such 'happiness' on my thread I'll just continue to look even deeper or 'hope' that some fellow gamer is nice enough to help me out with some useable information on this. It's no wonder people are leaving SWG by the droves.... With such friendly players such as yourself playing and contributing to forums I may decide to quite soon as well... /sigh back at ya there 'friend'.... Glad I'm not on Lowca.... /shakeshead

Oh come on, don't be such a drama queen.
A 5 second search gave me this nice big list of threads where bounty hunter armor was discussed, here.
Another 5 seconds of skimming through the topics on that list showed me a nice informative thread, here.
There are also dozens of other threads that are around with all the information that have been stated time and time again, however I really don't want to waste any more time digging them up for you. You can call me a big meanie all you want, but the truth is you were just too lazy to find the information for yourself and wanted someone to hand it to you.
Spend a few seconds to do a search next time and you wont have to deal with such mean hearted people such as myself.

I want that armor but im not strong or lucky so i wont find a wondering black sun guy to kill to get it or i will find one and not be able to kill him. /sigh
Ill wait till deathwath opens up and people camp it.Maybe big groups will be enough to survive the reportly high spawn rate of nigh unstopable enemies.
