Thread: Armor ?
Heya,
Im in a jam, i need to know what armor is ok on encumbrance, but also can have good resis. I already have a set of Composite but do not like it because of the Encumb. If it helps any with Encumb ideas, i am a Bothan Rifleman. So i do not have much left for Stamina and Constituition Encumb. Any advice would be helpful.
Thank
I would say
1) Slice your armor if you have not- This will give you a chance in ham slices
2) Try to make sure of your ham/class before buying armor
3) As for resists on armor, it all depends on what your doing. As for Ham, I would say Padded since it still has some lines of resists, it also comes with lower ham, somewhat. The lower on the scale you go, the less lines of resist you get. So the less things you can kill without yourself getting killed
It also depends on what kind of combat you specify in. For example, if you focus most on PvE and creature killing, a majority of those do Kinetic damage, so a well made suit of Ubese could get you some high Kinetic protection. But if you get hit by Energy, then you could try Tantel Armor (that is when they fix the shifting stats on it). Both of those provide less encumbrance.
Heck, if you want to cover your bases, the best choice would be to buy both, and have the suits shortkeyed and right macros to switch between suits. This way depending on the type of damage you take you can use the macros to quickyl change outfit and get the more adequate protection.
You can wear Ubese, Tantel, and Mabari. Our armor is classified as Recon - so if you have old comp sitting in storage you can use the radial menu to change it into something you can wear. Don't know about your server but most of the armorsmiths I was using before aren't making a lot of the Recon armor. You might need to put in a request and help supply resources.
Faction armor.. I haven't looked into that yet so can't offer much help.
