Thread: Armor Crafting POST CU

Well since the guides were completely useless, I guess I will start a thread.
So, my AS grind ended late last night, and I am preparing to start my armor business.
I know that ALL layers are optional, but I have a few questions, and I am completely open to suggestions.
1. Layers are optional, but are they necessary to make armor worth a price? If so, which layers for which type of armor?(Battle, Recon, Assault)
2. What is Gravitonic Fiberplast and where is it harvested at?
3. The 3 optional slots on armor, are they for adding 3 layers into the armor?
Basically, I just need a walkthrough on how to make GREAT armor and which components I need. BTW, I am a tailor as well, so I have already crafted the Fiberpanels and Synthetic Cloths.
Any info would be helpful
