Armorsmith stuck cant go on this way! How to use the Macro?
As far as I can tell there is no information listed anywhere on these forums on how to use the macro provided with the game. Unfortunately I cant continue on the path of Armrosmith without one. That is unless I get to send Sony the Doctor bill.
Well, I have never used a Macro as in almost every game there is, they are Banned from USE. This is the first game where I have seen the developers actually put one in on purpose, because the process is so tedious and actually will cause serious damage to your hands and wrist if you try to manually progress through the skill trees. I guess they just want 15 bucks and don’t care if we even play at the computer, so the macro is here, but no explanation of how to use it. I have asked repeatedly about this in the chat area and I get the same response every time “go look in the Galaxies Forums”. Well,? WHERE! I sure as heck cant find it, is it listed under something else like Support? I think I have looked just about everywhere else.
In any case, I have looked up and down this forum for some type of relevant information and actually there is none. Guess I’m real unlucky cause I got the Armorsmith Holo. However, with no directions on how to use the Macro its pretty much a useless tool within the game (kind of like the Holocron).
The only information I can find is in the “How To” section and its vague and basically tells you one thing with no real explanation of how or what is going on. The example is listed below on the Armorsmith page.

The example provided seems ok until you try to craft anything other than what the Macro is for. I mean, selectDraftSchematic47. Ok, where are the list of numbered draft schematics? I don’t see any numbers anywhere? Where are they listed?
For example; Armorweave Segment< no clue what that number is or even where to look to find it.
My best guess on how it would look is as follows;
/ui action toolbarSlot01; /selectDraftSchematic (have no fricken clue); /pause 10; /nextC; /nextC; /createPrototype practice no item; /createPrototype practice no item; /pause <-repeat 3 or 4 times as toolbarSlot02 03 04 etc.
What does nextC; do? No idea. Is this going to automatically place materials in the correct slots? What if I have multiple materials or a backpack, is it going to click that too?
Actually Where is the Damn Manual for the Macro Program!?
Why is there practically no valid information about this game listed anywhere on the HOMEPAGE!
This is not something I can just figure out, you have to provide some type of instructions, information and some better examples describing what the macro does and what key instructions mean. You might as well be telling me to jump in a 707 and take her for a spin, and I don’t even get to look at a manual first.
There has got to be some information somewhere on this, but unfortunately the only places I can find information on a MARCO they are wanting you to PAY THEM FOR IT! Developer supplemental income I guess. LOL
On thing is for sure, I cant find it in the Manual, online or otherwise. Its not here on these forums or on this webpage I can find.
I really don’t need someone to hold my hand or just tell me. I need to read the manual or instruction set for the Macro. I just cant continue on this way as my wrist and hand hurt too much. Basically I have 777 more items to craft for 1 skill in armor smith after that it gets easier but still a lot of crafting.
So, anyone know where this damn information is?
The Draft Schematic number is different for everyone, unfortunately. It's the order the schematics are listed in your datapad, which approximately corresponds to when you picked up the skill. Most people trial and error until they get within a row or two, then count their way down. Note that the Draft Schematic number is different for each tool. In other words, if you have a Weapon/Droid/General tool open and you /sel 12, it's not the same as if you have a Clothing/Armor and you /sel 12.
/NextC basically hits the <Next> button for you while crafting. There is NO in-game way to automate adding resources. You must click them manually. This is why the crafting macro generally has a several second pause before one of the /nextCs.

Bye the way, I had to rewrite this thing about five times because it said I needed to keep my language clean. No clue why and I still cant figure out what language they meant, but I reworded this post five times anyway looking for whatever word they this filter meant. I still cant find it.
