i have a ton of voritor and rancor segments id like to get used + some rancor hide.
Just a quick note on looted armor components. They basically fall into three categories: segments, layers, segment enhancers.
Looted segments are used for specific armor types in replacement for crafted ones. For example, rancor padded segments are used only in the manufacturing of padded armor and cannot be added to any other armor type.
Layers are components that can be added to some crafted segmentslayer slot(s) (tantel, ubese, padded, composite, and RIS). An example of a looted layer is the nightsister layer that would raise the base resistances and reduce the action encumbrance of a piece of armor.
Segment enhancers are another component that can be added to a crafted armor segments, segment enhancer slot. These include things like janta hides, nightsister shards (not nightsister layers), rancor hides (not padded segments), and krayt scales (not krayt segments)...the list goes on and on.
Wookie armor as far as I know of does not have a dropped segment to replace the player crafted ones and does not contain any slots for layers. A wookie armor segment does contain a slot for a segment enhancer and is the only category of looted armor components that may be used in wookie armor at this time.
