Hello. I want to make a rodian toon and I wish to wear composite (unbuffed). I know that HAM costs on this armor are so high that basically humans are the only race that can wear it unbuffed. I need the composite because of the variety of resists it provides.

I'd simply like to know what average HAM costs are on layered/non layered advanced composite.

That's all. If Ihave to skip gloves to put on a whole suit that's ok I just want to be able to wear a full suit unbuffed and I'd like to see some averages on HAM costs before I make my decision to stick with my rodian or re-roll as a human.

Try using a layered / un-layered mix... I made a suit with 53% base / 80% kinetic helmet / body / legs (this used 4 points in the final combine for HAM) and 40% base un layered everything else (this was very low HAM standard comp segments and again about 3 or 4 points into HAM on the final combine) and got a total HAM before slice of around 450/410/450...

This had the following advantages...

Very low HAM for comp - with a good slice is wearable by any race

80% kinetic on the main three areas hit

OK resists to a wide range of damage types on every part of body - and still looks good like a full suit

Why don't you ask a local MA to try this for you...

If you get a full suit of encumberance sliced triple layered composite from a decent armoursmith you should be able to wear it as a rodian. Only thing with being a rodian is that you need encumberance slices to get a full suit on unless its made with decent loot drops like krayt segments, nightsister shards/layers, etc. Lowest I have is a suit of 58%/51% unlayered that is just over 300 encumberance for the full suit after slicing.
