What do I craft to move up the Novice artisan Engineering tree to get to Novice Armorsmith.
The dumb questions...
Is there an Armor crafting tool?
What tool do I use to craft up to Novice Armorsmith?
What tool do I use to craft once I am Novice Armorsmith?

Get yourself a generic crafting tool or a weapon/droid/generic item crafting tool to start yourself off. From there you can make crafting tools or survey tools until you get up to engineering 3 where you can start grinding out wind generators until you hit novice armorsmith.
After that get yourself a few good clothing/armor crafting tools and a private clothing/armor station and read the handy faqs that are located here in the armorsmith forum.
