Are Devs CSR's aware of this bug. and if its not a bug, will the 2nd wookiee armour do it?

I think it's safe to say that it's not a bug, but a design choice. Wookie armor decays quickly because of the fact that all of the pieces, especially the chest piece cover more than one hit zone. Since they cover more hit zones, each piece tends to get hit more often and wears out much more quickly than other armor types with the possible exception of the ubese jacket which also wears out quickly due to the same reason.

Yeah, its not that the armor is actually decaying faster, its that one piece of wookiee armor gets hit twice as often as one piece of human armor. It's four pieces that cover at least 8 (I think it covers all nine, maybe not feet though) possible hit areas. I noticed my chest piece is now at 13000 (roughly 65% or so, out of 21000) after a Krayt fight and some voritors over the course of 3-4 days. That is because it covers the first and third most commonly hit spots in PvE combat. The legs I have are still at about 75-80%, because it only covers the second most common spot. The arm pieces are still close to 90%.
Also, the higher the quality of the armor, the slower it will decay, and it will also generally have higher durability to boot. This is becaue the damage your suit takes is what gets through, not what it stops. So 65% resist armor is going to take nearly half as much damage to its condition as 45% armor, and it will also generally have higher durability as well, both of which allow it to last significantly longer.
For another example of this, turn on a PSG and watch how quickly it hits that 1k damage that makes it go poof. Pretty darn quick, a lot faster than a normal good chest piece will take 1k damage. Its because every single hit you take goes through the PSG, so it decays 5x faster than a humanoid chest piece with the same resists, or about 3-4x faster than the Ceremonial chest/head piece with the same resists.
And remember, this is not the uber set of armor, this is the lower end set of armor, the easy stuff. This would be like a mix between Ubese and Chitin, basically. It shouldn't ever last nearly as long as composite does. Our composit equivalent will be here eventually, hee.
