From what I understand schematics can be traded, or if not the tailor can put it in your factory for you if you give him/her admin rights at least. Just hand over some fiberplast and polymer so he/she can make a schematic and pay him/her for her trouble. I think I read somewhere that 10k was an appropriate amount? Ordo what I do and get Tailor 0200 and make your own schematics. It isn't that many points, and very convenient.

Trust me, synthetic cloth is pretty easy to come by, especially on Kauri. I was a Master Tailor for a bit and made a handful of schematics for synth cloth and RFP for armorsmiths. Some would just by the components from me outright and not deal with the hassle. But for those who enjoy hassles, if you have a wearables factory, you can get them to make you a schematic and make your own. The key I think is to be nice! Use the search option to find a tailor (many novice tailors love the opportunity to help and won't demand too much money). Ask them if they can make you a schematic with your resources. You'll need to trade them the appropriate materials for the schematic (make sure you have a few k of fiberplast and inert petro so your efforts run a full batch of 1000), then when they trade the schematic to you (make sure you have room in your data-pad) you pay for their efforts. I charged between 2k-5k for making these for armorsmiths. Same deal on trim for chefs, if you're curious.

Seek n Save, how much for the synthetic cloth?

Finding tailors on kauri is a piece of cake. I know, I am one I charge 3k a crate premade, or 10k a schematic if you provide the resources. I have them on my vendor in the Mos Veros mall on Tatooine ( also on the map). I have about 6 factory runs worth on my vendor at the moment, with 3 more baking as we speak. If you advertise on the kauri trade boards, you'd get quite a few responses there.
