Thread: Please tell me what Im doing wrong
I have never seen that before. Composite doesn't have a special resist to restraint.
Are you sure you didn't mis-read it? If you use Stun layers, it moves it from Vulnerability into the Special Protection. From your description. Stun is moved into the Base Effectiveness which is impossible.
---------
EDIT: Now that I've thought about it... Did you use any type of segment enhancers? Or possibly some Krayt Segments? However, from my experience, when you use segment enhancers, it usually moves everything into Special Protection, including stun. Whereas, your Stun resist is located in the Base Effectiveness. Wierd....

Well from my determinations...
You ended up with 26% stun... which would befrom using two 11% stun resist layers, and one 4% stun resist layers...
Also, in your description of the armor you used, you neglected to mention that you used a Krayt Scale... (which I personally thing make for $hitty Armor)
So what are you doing wrong??? ... I don't even think you Know what you are doing...
If you want to make stun armor then do it, on your experimentation use 3 layers with special resist experimented all the way, from there on out, experiment the base all the way, until you have 1 point left on your final experimentation of the finished piece and then put that into durability...
in a nutshell that will show you the best stun armor you can make... Of course from there out, you can do things to refine it further, but i am not going to tell you everything... although I will tell you this... You should really lose the Krayt scales... sure the encumberance is decent, however the resists are quite poor and thus your marketability gets shot in the foot... unless you have some incredible krayt scales, you should not be using them in comp armor... you are better off saving krayt scales for things like Ubese or Kashyyikian armor where it will further enhance your kinetic resist as well as removing nearly all vulnerabilities...
That is my opinion anyways...
Hey dip**edit**, It's pretty clear I dont, why do you think I asked.

Yo dude, there is no need to go and get your panties in a knot...
If you read my post and neglect that one line you will find it is actually quite informative, that was more ofa light hearted remark than a flame of some sort...
Anywho, It is Very Hard to say waht you have done wrong when you haven't even mentioned what your expectations were... How do I know if you were aiming for a Helmet with under 200 Mind encumberance or if you were aiming for a 90% stun Helm (impossible) or you wanted an extremely high base%
Regardless, the information I posted in that reply (which you likely stopped reading after you highlighted that line and replied) is likely what you are looking for, I imagine you wanted a high base% with a high stun%...
so do me a favour and re-read my reply before you pull out your **edit** highlighter...
