I recently looted 11 indentical Acklay Hides with the following stats:
Base Effectiveness: 19%
Integrity: 24150
Heat Effectiveness: 14%
Energy Effectiveness: 17%
Integrity: 24150
Heat Effectiveness: 14%
Energy Effectiveness: 17%
It is described as a component for Padded Armor. I was wondering how much I should sell this for. Thank you.

they make decent, not great, suits of padded armor, and take away one vulnerabilty. The ham cost makes them better than using the current common components Rancor Hide padded segments or using a Advanced segment however, since you can't use layers they are less versatile.
I've been buying a few to try them out but i must admit i'm low balling till i find a real market for them. a full suit of padded uses 17 segments so if they don't beat a decent suit of composite i'm losing money at 6k each
