Thread: Power For Harvesters? a quick question..

I've never really done the harvesting aspect of this game... and i'm having some trouble finding power for my harvesters...
Or knowning what i need to power them...
I'm told Fusion... Wind... nether of which i seem able to find...
Is Solid Petrochem Fuel or Liquid Petrochem Fuel possible?...
Any help would be really appreciated...

fusion most popular, it is the radioactive, should be able to find some on world vendor search or on the bazaar, or you can always mine yourself

if your trying tofind it... wind and solar each have their own survey tool and harvesters, radioactive is a mineral(according to SWG) and can be found with a mineral survey tool and can also be mined with a mineral harvy if you so wish but its better to use a fusion because it dosent use up power and can pull more per hour than a mineral harvy.
or you can do what the other poster suggested and by the power from the bazarr/vendors out there.
you get it into your harvester by using the deposit option and select the amount you want to drop in or, use the /addPower #amountcommand.

Thanks guys... i appreciate the info... but really need to know if petrochem can be used for power?... have a chance to buy a ton of it very inexpensive

A word of caution, you can hand sample radioactive materials with the mineral survey device... doing so WILL hurt.

How wealthy are you? IF your bank permits it...
Buy 10-50 Fusion Gens.
Lot swap with someone from another server for 10-50 lots.
Dump all 10-50 on a planet you like (naboo is good) in a 5-10x2-5 row formation..or hell 10-50 in a row if you like.
Harvest whatever is under them. (you dont need 90% spots..anything over 10% is pure profit)
Sell excess to people like yourself!
Never have to worry about power again.
Comtinually worry about where you're going to store the millions in radio power you can't move.

Thats a good idea.. this is proving to be more difficult than i suspected... and self-sufficency is looking pretty good...
