What are the differences and which is better and why?
I have always wondered, so please enlighten me.

In the old system, it was a interwoven was special in that you could add an extra enhancer and bring the encumbrance down. I have heard that in the new system, it allows you to make RIS without a GDK scale. Although, I'm not sure what is more difficult....getting GDK scales now or surviving the now killer Geo Caves to hopefully get a schem drop by the Acklay.
I haven't don't either since the CURB was published, so this is all rumor.

Pre CU, normal ris had 2 layers, interwoven had 3. Now interwoven are not part of the game any more.
